OUR STORY

Giving back with Evie is an initiative focused on reaching out to less privileged persons, with particular interest to children deprived access to education. Our pilot ‘back to school’ project in Yangoji, Abuja saw us taking weekend classes on general knowledge and elementary mathematics, of which 60 students were in attendance. In addition, aids such toiletries, books, clothes, shoes and financial aids for medical purposes were provided, and the tuition fees of 10 excelling students are currently sponsored by the initiative. We are an operational NGO, meaning we plan and carry out boots-on-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. This requires a great deal of careful planning, communication, and local support of individuals and cooperate donors for each project.
